The flu vaccine is your best source of protection against the flu. It's safe, takes a couple of minutes and lasts for around a year. The Flu is more than just a bad cold; it can make you seriously unwell. It is a highly infectious illness and absolutely anyone can contract it, although some people are more at risk than others. It can lead to pneumonia or, in extreme cases, can cause death.
We offer the Quadrivalent Flu vaccine. This is considered the best because it protects you against the four most common flu strains of the season, whereas some flu vaccines cover less. You may be entitled to receive a flu vaccine at your NHS practice if you are over 65yo or have a long-term illnesses. If not, book with us now.

We can give vaccinations which are not routinely available for everyone on the NHS, such as those for cervical cancer, genital warts, Meningitis B, chicken pox, and shingles. We also offer advice and administer vaccinations for worldwide travel.
Please plan ahead if you need vaccination. Your body needs time to produce protective antibodies after the injections – a minimum of two weeks but preferably more. Bear in mind that some vaccinations also require a course of injections, spread out over a longer period.
